For Families

When I was a new mom, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information that is out there regarding child care. Magazines, books, you name it, if it's a child-rearing topic, it's out there!

Along with the overwhelming sense that I was in this "alone", I looked forward to hanging out with other moms and caregivers who were going thru the same things as I was with a new baby! Slowly but surely, I started finding moms' clubs, playgroups, library storytimes, etc.

Five years later, I'm STILL collecting resources to help families find and network with friends. Below you can find links to moms' groups, childrens' activities, library calendar pages, consignment shops, parks, etc. If you have a small business that is child-related, I would be happy to post it on this page!
