About Bright Day Music

Bright Day Music was created in the Fall of 2004. After a year and a half of attending Kindermusik® classes with my daughter, I knew that it was something that I wanted to share with as many families as possible.
I have a BA in Music from Southeastern Massachusetts University, now UMASS Dartmouth. I moved to Lowell from Southeastern MA in 1997 and reside here with my husband and daughter. When I'm not having fun with my family and Kindermusik children, I enjoy yoga, time with friends, and long walks in the great outdoors.
A big THANK YOU to all of my Kindermusik families who helped make Bright Day Music receive the Kindermusik Maestro award of excellence!
WE'RE GROWING! It is my pleasure to introduce Theresa Barbieri-Erwin and SuAnn Chong to Bright Day Music!

Theresa Barbieri-Erwin has been a licensed Kindermusik Educator since June, 2007. From an early age, music has been an integral part of her life. From playing in elementary, middle, and high school bands, singing in church choir and to her daughter, music has been a source of joy and connection to the community and beyond. Working with preschool and elementary aged children, Theresa has loved incorporating music into the lives of her students. She has a Master of Education degree from Salem State College and has taught second and third grades for the past eight years. She is thrilled to be sharing her love of music with Kindermusik families.

Su-Ann began her formal music training on the piano at age 7 and the violin, a few years later. Having obtained a Licentiate piano teaching diploma from Trinity College of Music, London, she spent her early adult life as a private music educator who provided innovative and energetic instruction to her students. With a Bachelor's in Public Relations, and minors in Music and Marketing, Su-Ann then worked in the corporate sector before obtaining her Kindermusik certification as a way to fulfill her dream of educating young children in the joys of music. As a Kindermusik educator, Su-Ann finds great satisfaction when she sees children's eyes light up while singing and playing instruments in class. Su-Ann has three children herself.
Together, it is our goal to create Kindermusik® classes that are fun, informative, and create a lasting memory for families. We believe in the Kindermusik® philosophy:
- Every parent is the child's most important teacher.
- Every child is musical.
- The home is the most important learning environment.
- Music nurtures a child's cognitive, emotional, social, language, and physical development.
I invite you to come to a Kindermusik® class and see for yourself what a difference it will make for you and your child.
Sincerely,
Director, Bright Day Music
